In addition to experience with streamlining the indirect lending process within a bank, CMSI was the first company to successfully operate an electronic network (CreditConnection®) to electronically exchange loan applications and decisions between car dealerships and lenders.  This connectivity reduced a multi-hour process to a matter of minutes, and dramatically improved lender productivity by eliminating application data entry.  The CreditConnection network was merged with DealerTrack™ in 2003. The result is a combined solution that is the leading electronic financing platform for automobile dealers.  CMSI’s equity in DealerTrack provides us with a unique and early insight into market trends in the dealership world that may affect lenders.
